About Friends and Neighbors of Washington Park


Friends and Neighbors (FANS) of Washington Park is a not for profit 501(c)3 organization organized in 2006.  FANS is an advocacy organization for Washington Park  committed to: conserving for future generations, educating park users and providing a voice for  the park with the City.


FANS meet monthly on the second Wednesday at the Dos Chappell Bath House from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Meeting Summary


FANS activities include monthly speakers on topics related to the park, publishing the Washington Park Tree Guide, volunteer work activities, maintaining the FANS website with current park information and notifying and educating FANS members and the larger community about proposed park projects and uses.
