Friends and Neighbors (FANS) of Washington Park is very pleased to welcome Joe Roller, M.D., as our guest speaker. Wednesday, Sept 11, from 6 – 7 PM at the usual location, the Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) building, aka. the Dos Chappel Bathhouse

Joe Roller, MD, President of the Denver Field Ornithologists, an organization of 500 “birders”. The title of his discussion is “What is that Bird, and What is it Doing, and Why?, An Informal Discussion About the Birds of Washington Park.”

Joe is a retired gastroenterologist who has searched for, photographed and studied birds on all seven continents and all over the U.S., with emphasis on Colorado. He has served on the boards of several state-wide bird study and conservation groups. Learn more by visiting dfobirds.org.
