June 2016 board meeting minutes:

FANS of Washington Park is very pleased to welcome Anaclaudia Magalhaes, West Denver Parks District Planner, Planning, Design and Construction, Parks and Recreation, City and County of Denver, as our guest speaker at our Wednesday, June 12 meeting.

Following presentation of an original poem by Linda Keller, Anaclaudia will discuss current and future plans for Washington Park, including such issues as plans for the site of the removed playground near the Boathouse, the new basketball court and what to do with the current court, repair of the Eugene Field House and surrounding area.

As always, the meeting will be held in the Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado Building, aka the Dos Chappel Bathhouse, from 6 – 7 PM. So if you’re interested in plans for the park and/or have questions/comments, please consider attending.

There will be no FANS meeting in July or August.
