We learned at our January 2018 FANS meeting, during a presentation from Demian Wetzel, Operations Supervisor, Parks and Recreation, Southwest District, that he and his crew are currently rebuilding the kiosks. Demian has purchased glass display cases (typically used to display restaurant menus outdoors) and is planning on mounting them on refurbished kiosks.
FANS had allocated $1,900 to fund new kiosks construction and will now redirect these funds to other park projects.
These kiosks are intended to display information on the park garden plantings.
