New restrooms are planned to be built near the new playground and relocated basketball courts. Current proposals call for a restroom configuration using mostly gender neutral facilities as well as family restrooms. The belief is this type configuration allows the most flexibility for event such as “women’s runs” or “men’s events” where usage could be heavily skewed towards a single gender.
